Primary care outreach sessions designed by students
1.04.19
In 2018 the Medical Schools Council and the Royal College of General Practitioners invited medical students to create an outreach session based in a primary care setting for pupils aged 11 to 16. The aim of the session was to promote general practice to potential medical school applicants. This booklet provides the three winning entries and we hope it will be used by anyone wishing to talk to school students about medicine.
The winning submissions have been collated and can be accessed here. Accompanying slides can be found here.
The Medical Schools Council and the Royal College of General Practitioners would like to thank all the medical students who took part in the competition. We had a fantastic response with over 85 submissions received.
