The Medical Schools Council has today provided guidance to medical students on winter travel and clinical placements. This document highlights that students, as essential workers, can travel to and from their clinical placements as other healthcare workers can. It further provides guidance on travelling to remote placements, travelling to visit friends and family and travelling home once term ends.
