UKMED open for research applications

The UK Medical Education Database is now open for applications until 5 April 2019 12:00 noon GMT.
Since the last application round new data fields have become available, such as:
- one row per UCAS application to a medical school from any applicant who applied to a degree leading to a primary medical qualification from 2007 to 2017
- one row per UCAS applicant from any applicant who applied to a degree leading to a primary medical qualification from 2007 to 2017
- applicants’ scores on the Multi-Specialty Recruitment Assessment (MSRA)

New forum
Applicants can now access support on a dedicated UKMED forum available once you sign into the UKMED website. Existing users can log in with their previous details.

UKMED
The database has been established for the purpose of analysing medical training pathways. It incorporates and matches data from a range of sources, such as medical admissions tests and postgraduate performance markers.
UKMED provides a large-scale, long-term body of information which can be turned towards a broad variety of research questions. The lists of accepted applications and published research can be found on the UKMED website.
